Is it possible that applicant or approver change the file name or update the file while the Workflow is running?

Answer

File names cannot be changed during running Workflow.
You can change the file name after Approved or rejected by the final approver,or withdrawn by the applicant from the Workflow.
Please change the file name after the workflow is completed.

File update during the approval process of Workflow is allowed, and it remains in the trail as an action “File updated from workflow”,
The file before the update is saved as an older version.
To edit, open the approval request Workflow, click edit icon in the upper right corner and make your edits.
Finally click save icon in the upper left corner.

It is not allowed to edit files from Space while Workflow is running.
