Is it possible to apply / unlock “Sheet protection” or “Cell lock” in Online Editing?

Answer

It can lock / unlock the cell by clicking the “locked cell” icon.

It can protect the sheet from “Protect Sheet” by right-clicking on the sheet.

When the sheet is protected, the cells that can be edited are highlighted.
It can remove the highlighting by right-clicking on the sheet and clicking “cancel highligh enterable cells”.

It can cancel the sheet protection from “unprotect sheet”.

- Files with the extension xlsx format protected by sheet in Excel of Office 2013 or later are targeted.

- Please note that files that are protected by Office2010 and saved in later versions without removing the protection are not covered.

- For files before Office 2010 and files encrypted with md2 or ripemd128, the sheet is protected, but there is no password, so please perform sheet protection again on online editing.
