FAQ

Why was the no virus file detected and deleted by the virus scan?

Question

I received a mail for “Virus Detection Report”.
I scanned the target file with virus scanning software on my PC, but no virus was detected.

Why was it detected and deleted by Fleekdrive’s virus scan?

Answer

Reasons for files being removed that do not actually contain viruses include the followings:

・Has the same signature as past malware
・Matches machine learning models
・Judged to be dangerous by in-engine emulation execution
・High multiple compression was detected (it was judged to be a suspicion of a high compression bomb)

・Files that may be corrupt or no longer supported

In addition, as a case where it is detected in a compressed file (Zip file), it often corresponds to the “High multiple compression”.
Please carry out a virus scan with the anti-virus software on your PC, and check if the file contains a virus.
After confirming that there is no such file, upload the compressed file with a password to prevent this event.
