User register error occurs like “User ID is malformed.”

When I try to regist a user, “User ID is malformed” error occurs.
I’m not using charactors that cannot use, what is the problem?
Are there any characters that cannot be registered in the user ID?

Answer

Double-byte characters cannot be used for user IDs.
Even if you do not use characters that cannot be registered, please check above.
For example, “@” is double-byte charactor at above image.
